The Veracity LONGSPAN VLS-1P-B is a powerful base-side Ethernet and PoE extender engineered to deliver reliable IP connectivity across extreme distances. Designed for professional surveillance deployments, this LONGSPAN base unit pairs with a camera-side device to extend both data and power up to 820 meters (2,690 ft) over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.

Unlike traditional Ethernet limitations, the LONGSPAN system maintains full 100Base-TX bandwidth (200Mbps full duplex) while delivering up to 25.5W PoE+, ensuring uninterrupted video performance even in high-demand environments such as transportation infrastructure, campuses, industrial facilities, and perimeter security installations.
