Seco-Larm Enforcer Mortise Cylinder Key Switch
Seco-Larm’s Enforcer Mortise Cylinder Key Switch is made up of color coded wires and DPDT momentary switches designed to work as a backup security access control. Its main function is to act as a secondary mode of entry by forcing its assigned door to unlock in case the main method of entry malfunctions for some reason.
These key switches are accessible using one of two identical turnkey switches that come with the lockset. They basically have two main functions, either normally closed or normally open. The switch itself is designed to fit in any standard black box. You can do the installation yourself because the lockset also comes with the necessary mounting hardware, including:
- Two (2) turnkeys
- Two (2) Screws
- Front Plate
- Back Plate
- Security Wrench
Take note that the two keys don’t have replacements available. So if you want more copies you have to make sure to duplicate them yourself. This is to guarantee that only you have possession of all existing keys.
When properly installed, the locks are bolted in by vandal-resistant screws, protecting them from all sorts of tampering. They have aluminum chrome back plates and a stainless steel front that covers up the screws, giving off a clean and smooth appearance.
